5G NR FR1 contribution to the total EMF exposure levels during ground levels spot measurements in urban and suburban environment in Greece

Abstract

Results of 400 in situ spot measurements of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields, conducted at ground level in urban and suburban environments in Greece, are presented and discussed. Measurement data are assessed, emphasizing the 5G
contribution to the measured total electric field (E-field). The correlation of the measured E-field in the 5G NR FR1 to the distance of the base stations (BSA) and small cell antennas (SCA) operating at this frequency range is explored.
