7th GA meeting completed

7th General Assembly – Final review of the SEAWave project.
The 7th General Assembly constituted the final meeting of the SEAWave Project, thus bringing the consortium together for the last time in the beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium.

Hosted with warm hospitality and exceptional organization by the IMEC group, the meeting opened with welcoming remarks from the local host, Luc Martens, and final reflections from Project Coordinator, Theodoros Samaras.

During the course of two days, over 40 partners reviewed the project’s achievements, milestones, and scientific outcomes. With 20+ peer-reviewed publications and 30+ conference presentations already completed — and more in the pipeline — the SEAWave community celebrated the strong scientific contributions made over the project’s 42-month journey. Discussions focused on wrapping up the final deliverables, coordinating upcoming dissemination activities, and exploring opportunities for future collaborations built on the knowledge and partnerships formed through SEAWave.

As always, the meeting concluded with the traditional family photo, which captured the spirit of teamwork and collegiality that defined the project from start to finish!

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all partners for their dedication, hard work, and energy throughout this unforgettable project.
And while SEAWave officially comes to an end, its impact—and the collaborations it inspired—are only just beginning!
